Admission Procedure

The registration forms for the Doon Valley International School should be filled out & submitted before the registration ends. The uncompleted registration forms will not be accepted. The interview date will be announced during the registration only if the submission is successful from the school’s end. The school authority decides the date & time of the interview.

The mere registration application form will not permit the students for admission. The details which are provided at the time of admission in the admission form cannot be changed subsequently. If you think you have submitted wrong and incomplete information then you have to reapply for the admission process. The admissions are finalized according to the admission tests, interviews, interaction with the students, and the availability of the seats.

All the original documents should be attached to the registration form. The required documents for all the classes are a photocopy of the birth certificate and, a photocopy of the result of the previous class. All these documents are required for the admission of the classes 1 to above.

The age Criteria for admission to the playgroup is 2+ years at the start of the academic session. The age should be specified on the admission forms.

During the registration, the counselors and staff of the school will be there to assist.

Admission process

• Admission to Doon Valley International School is based on a first come first serve basis. So it is requested that all the parents register with us as quickly as you can.
• For the playgroup admission, no entrance test is required but for other classes, the written test will be conducted.
• If your child is granted admission, then the staff of the school will let you know. If not, the process of admission ends then and there. The fees and the security deposit must be paid within the specific time for the offer to be treated as confirmed. The child should attend school before the mentioned deadline. If they fail to do so for any reason, the amount equivalent to the full school year fees of the classes concerned will be charged.
• The transfer certificate from the previous school is required for those students who are shifting from other schools to DVIS for admission.
• In case of withdrawal from our school, a transfer certificate is issued from the school but only after receiving a confirmation that no pending dues of the fees are from the side of the student.
• The final decision of the admission process is taken by the school principal only. The principal of the school will observe the application form first after which the decision is made. The acceptance and rejection of the application form are all in the hands of the Principal.
• The school fees once paid will not be refunded for any reason.
